Terms of Service
Effective date: April 15, 2026
These Terms of Service (“Terms”) govern your access to and use of TrustFront (“Service”, “we”, “us”, “TrustFront”), a free trust center builder. By creating an account or using the Service, you agree to these Terms.
1. The Service
TrustFront lets you create a public trust center to display your security posture, compliance certifications, subprocessors, and policies to your customers and prospects. The Service is provided free of charge and on an “as is” basis.
2. Account registration
You must provide accurate information when creating an account. You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your credentials and for all activity that occurs under your account. You must be at least 16 years old and have authority to bind the company you represent.
3. Acceptable use
You agree not to:
- Publish false or misleading information about your security or compliance posture (e.g., claiming a certification you do not hold).
- Impersonate any person or organization.
- Upload content that is unlawful, infringes intellectual property, or contains malware.
- Use the Service to transmit unsolicited commercial messages (spam).
- Attempt to disrupt the Service, bypass security controls, or reverse engineer the platform.
- Use AI features to generate content that is misleading about facts you cannot verify.
- Resell, sublicense, or commercially redistribute the Service.
We may suspend or terminate accounts that violate these terms without prior notice.
4. Your content
You retain all ownership rights to the content you publish on your trust center (“Customer Content”). By publishing, you grant TrustFront a non-exclusive, worldwide, royalty-free license to host, display, and process that content solely to provide the Service.
You are solely responsible for the accuracy and lawfulness of the content you publish, including security claims, compliance statements, subprocessor lists, and uploaded documents.
5. AI-generated suggestions
The Service uses third-party AI models to generate draft suggestions during onboarding (e.g., philosophy drafts, FAQ questions). All suggestions are drafts that you must review and edit before publishing. We do not warrant that AI suggestions are accurate or appropriate for your company. You are solely responsible for verifying and customizing any AI-generated content before it is published.
6. Service availability
TrustFront is provided “as is” without any uptime guarantee or service level agreement. We may modify, suspend, or discontinue the Service or any feature at any time without prior notice.
7. Intellectual property
TrustFront, including its software, design, brand, and documentation, is owned by us and protected by intellectual property laws. These Terms do not grant you any right to use our trademarks, logos, or branding.
8. Third-party services
The Service relies on third-party providers (hosting, email delivery, AI APIs, authentication providers). We are not responsible for outages, data loss, or actions of these providers beyond our reasonable control. See our Privacy Policy for the list of subprocessors that handle your data.
9. Disclaimer of warranties
TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW, THE SERVICE IS PROVIDED “AS IS” AND “AS AVAILABLE” WITHOUT WARRANTIES OF ANY KIND, EXPRESS OR IMPLIED, INCLUDING WARRANTIES OF MERCHANTABILITY, FITNESS FOR A PARTICULAR PURPOSE, AND NON-INFRINGEMENT. WE DO NOT WARRANT THAT THE SERVICE WILL BE UNINTERRUPTED, SECURE, OR ERROR-FREE.
10. Limitation of liability
TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW, IN NO EVENT WILL TRUSTFRONT BE LIABLE FOR ANY INDIRECT, INCIDENTAL, SPECIAL, CONSEQUENTIAL, OR PUNITIVE DAMAGES, OR ANY LOSS OF PROFITS, REVENUE, DATA, OR GOODWILL ARISING OUT OF OR RELATED TO YOUR USE OF THE SERVICE. OUR TOTAL AGGREGATE LIABILITY WILL NOT EXCEED ONE HUNDRED U.S. DOLLARS (US$100).
11. Indemnification
You agree to indemnify and hold harmless TrustFront from any claims, damages, or expenses arising from (a) your Customer Content, (b) your violation of these Terms, or (c) your violation of any third-party right.
12. Termination
You may delete your account at any time from the dashboard settings. We may terminate or suspend your account immediately if you violate these Terms. Upon termination, your trust center will be unpublished and your data will be deleted within 30 days, except as required by law.
13. Changes to these Terms
We may update these Terms at any time. Material changes will be announced via email or in the dashboard at least 14 days before they take effect. Continued use after the effective date constitutes acceptance.
14. Governing law and jurisdiction
These Terms are governed by the laws of the Federative Republic of Brazil, without regard to conflict of law principles. Any dispute arising from these Terms or use of the Service shall be resolved exclusively in the courts of São Paulo, SP, Brazil, except where mandatory consumer protection laws of your country of residence apply.
